A little 3d walk-around demo, that uses
a dynamic lightmap for lighting, a bsp tree for collisions, and that's all I can remember. Was proud of it, till realising no one can run it because it needs EMS...

This is a smaller, yet _vastly_ improved version of one the more advanced set of 2D star routines ever on QuickBASIC!!! :D It has SO MANY of the features of the last version (only this time, in **less** QB code to save you a _lot_ of programming time and hassle! ;) ), plus, the stars are even color-animated for each color of them within *any* 16-color spread at all, and more!! So, are you ready for download of this one? ;D (Requires RelLib and QuickBASIC 4.5 to use.)

Shows how much you could do with 9 lines of code. To name a few: Floormapper, Plasmas, Rotozoomers, fires, 3d rotators and some I could not even describe!!!!

Something i did a few weeks ago, renders quake maps the same way quake does (bsp+pvs). There are still loads of things missing, most obvious one is perspective correct texture mapping. But i haven''t messed with it for weeks and i don''t intend to. So after having a few people bug me about it i''m going to release it.
Unfortunatly it''s quite big, just over 2 mb. Was 50% smaller with rar. But most people don''t seem to use rar, so zip it is.
PS. there are more maps under maps (duh). And you should be able to load any quake 1 map that isn''t too big.

This is one of the more advanced set of 2D star routines ever on QuickBASIC, because it features translucency, as well as the star speed that is measured in decimals **rather** than whole numbers (resulting in even **smoother** movements! ;) ). Plus, you can enable them to move in ANY diagonal direction you wish, and lots more!
(Requires RelLib and QuickBASIC 4.5 to use.)

A demo came second at Toshi's pure QB Demo contest 2002. (http://www.tekscode.com/~toshi/qbdemo/qbdemo2002.html) Featuring (after the nasty intro) crossfade, sphere mapping on plasma, zoom distortion, RGB lights, my 1st 3d engine with several dot objects, ring blobs with nice colorfades, plasma inside blob and my 1st (buggy) raycaster engine in black and white. The very negative is that some effects shouldn't take so much time (actually the 3d dots part) making the demo a bit boring to watch. But still some very nice effects running at full speed if you have something over 500Mhz. There is ffix (floating point Qb accelerator) in the package too and a batch file to run ffix and then the demo. Necessary for 3d dots and wolfenstein3d engine. You can press escape to pass parts if you are bored to wait..

A fairly nice GUI demo. Includes buttons, windows, textboxes, menus, and more. Still seems a bit buggy. My mouse disappeared after typing in the textbox, and I wasn't able to get it back. With some more work, this could easily turn into a very nice GUI library.

Neat graphics demo that draws crystal like patterns on your screen. Quite cool. Reminds me of a program I had on my old IBM PCjr.

3D Engine with lighting and hidden face removal (uses Future Library). This would be excellent with a little more development, and maybe could be work as the backend of some 3D game for QB. IT would be nice to see some texture mapping

A cool ray trace engine. no Libs, pure QB. You may need to rem out 2 lines that have 'intx86old' in them as QB might moan. These only enable mouse support. Nice small source code.
