Tired of worrying about how to load bitmaps correctly and blit quickly in FreeBASIC using SDL? Don't feel like learning a whole new set of commands just to put text on the screen using SDL_TTF? Now you don't have to.
omaLib is a series of commands which will load bitmaps, blit images, and do many other things with a single command, where SDL requires many. It's designed to hide the seemingly arbitrary process of preparing bitmaps to be blitted to the screen quickly, and give the fastest frame rates possible with SDL. It also reduces the complexity of SDL_TTF to a single simple omaPrint command.

This is officially the very FIRST-EVER FreeBASIC palette library in existence, and it is guaranteed to truly rock your 8-bit graphics world and then some!! Features over a whopping 100 palette manipulation routines, including FULL uncompromised support for both 768-byte palettes and even PP256 palettes, as well as smooth crossfading between *two* palettes! Best of all, this original lib is fully compatible with GFXlib 2 by Angelo Mottola, too!
