Obla Dee, Obla Daa...

      ...Something, something, life goes on.

Welcome back to the bigger, badder Qb45. It's been quite awhile, hasn't it? A few years, no one can really pin it down, but after seeming eons of haggling and mismanagement we've gotten our act together, and we present to you this wonderful site.

A few things that have happened since we were last here:
  • Freebasic!
  • The war

  • At least two American Idols.

  • Man landing on the moon.

  • Ben and J-Lo's tragic breakup.
But fear not! We're here to stay. So check the place out, explore the site and participate in the forums, and it's good to be back.

Ok found one: your comment box broke with your mega-avatar.

Looks fine to me in both Firefox and IE.

However, I am now noticing a lot of templates I did look like shit in IE lol. I need the "Jofers" touch.

EDIT: Maybe post a link to a screenshot of what you see?

The reply form looks horribly broken, too ...

Wait, that's just because there's no hard break between the name field and the comment box.

Arg, you guys need to take screenshots of these... I don't see either of those problems.

I took a screenshot and will post it in a minute. I can't seem to register with the site, though; it keeps timing out when I click Submit.

Updating profile gives me an error.
It says that the selected default start page is not valid.

... Okay, so I guess hotlinking isn't quite fully implemented yet?
Date: Sunday May 29th, 2005 @ 18:25:01
No, you gotta use BB code.

EDIT: Ugh, K-Meleon... don't think I've ever used that browser lol. Anyway, I'll fix it up ASAP along with everything else here. Thanks for telling me about it. :)

... for the copy-paste impaired.

Hah, glad to help. ^_^ Also, I'm getting the same problem Brass Orchid did.

Moreover, how are you editing your posts? Or are admins only allowed to do that?
Date: Sunday May 29th, 2005 @ 20:50:21
Well, apparently I didn't make it so regular users could edit their comments to news items, downloads and tutorials. I'll add that in.

Your link to qbtk will point no where. I'll get you guys a new banner to link to fbtk tomorrow if that's cool. Otherwise, just take my link away.

Nice. Thought about themes? Gray hurts my eyes.

We could... But themes are a lot of work. These damned tpl files number in the dozens.

I'll check the guest forms again. I *thought* it was working, but I remember it looking like that, ryorinin.

It's working now, or at least it was a while ago, unless it broke again in the meantime. I suppose that is unlikely unless the code is spontaneously rewriting itself, and if that were to happen, you would have the government all over you confiscating your work which had, somehow, beyond all chance, beocme intelligent and self-directing. Then Arnold Schwartzeneger would be sent back in time to prevent you from not writing it in the first place.
