Anmother shell/os.

To compute with the QB "OS"'s, I have decided to create my own but my will be called a shell and not a OS for once and like linux and QBinux will be developde on a slow computer so it works even better on a fast one. There will be one main difference between mine and everyone else's "OS"; It will be Titled CORRECTLY as a shell/command.com replacement. How can I make two QB programs send messages back and forth to each other? I am hoping to have the applications that will run on my Shell to be EXE's but use a library to send messages back to the shell maine telling it to draw this and do that. EG: Program A sends a message to the shell saying Draw a line in my window. But the shell would be able to deny this request and send a message back saying your window is closed.
