There are a lot of online tutorials done in Java, which will increase the number of things found if you don't look for development. A large number of the additional hits will be worthless in context of your purpose. There is a large and fairly detailed tutorial which was once developed into a full book and published by Prentice Hall which is now out of print at the cafe au lait site.
