The ALPHA and CUSTOM modes add a TON of power to this. I used them in the font routines for my current project.

Ha, defender was great Be sure to submit that one when you're finished. Because with CUSTOM, though, it's a lot slower than ALPHA because it calls a function every pixel.

Yeah, but it's also a lot more efficient than either manually drawing the font or storing sprites for every concievable color.

I meant missile command, but upon investigation, they really aren't the same, huh?
Still, defender was cool too.

lol, someone had fun ;P
you know, you're not making me want to use something other than fb, i'd rather use it than team up with some jerks who try to belittle the hard work of many.

btw, did you actually try it out? how could you know if there are trojans on it unless you downloaded it and installed it, then detected them, and somehow you still managed to get back on the internet, find this site and make a post like that? do you actually have any evidence to back up your claims? didn't think so. if you had problems with it, you should've just asked, there are lots of people who would be more than happy to help you out.

Meh. A guy trolling on a post about FreeBASIC, making unrational insults about a 23-year-old compiler for DOS, is probably not the quickest to rational thought. I just wish he didn't have to pull this crap and waste my time on test nights.
